IN ORANGE COUNTY

less car on the road making the
trip,” Johnson said.
Global Pet Expo, which will
take place March 16-18, will be
one of two events to experience
three-day test runs. Event planners volunteered to be part of
the pilot, said Johnson.
The system will utilize busses that can carry 20 to 25 passengers and will supplement
larger transportation plans provided by convention organizers,
including transportation to and
from area hotels hosting convention attendees, Johnson said.

first time is not unusual for us,”

transportation around the center always has been a problem.
From furthest point to furthest
point, conventioneers must
walk almost a mile, he said.
