a diverse group of small, local
companies that produce unique,
well-made, natural products in
their particular niche, the company stated.

and meal toppers from Minneapolis-based Natura Petz Organics include Anxiety Starter Pack,
Stone Breaker Starter Pack, Dog &
Cat Kryptonite, Break It Up Stone
Eliminator, Joint Support Meal
Topper, Break It Up Meal Topper
and Life’s An Itch Meal Topper.
Natura’s products are designed as wellness solutions and
formulated for dogs and cats with
allergies, urinary tract health issues, arthritis, and stone support
for kidneys and gall bladders.
True Dogs LLC, maker of
the SodaPup brand in Boulder,
Colo., offers U.S.-made natural
rubber dog toys to independent pet specialty retailers. Its
products are sustainable, FDA
compliant and nontoxic. The
SodaPup line is expanding to include fliers, tug toys, dental toys
and retrieving toys.
Worcester, Mass.-based Ruff
Dawg’s collection is available in
assorted colors: Stick, K9 Flyer,
Fish, Peanut, Whipper Snapper
and Super Tug. All Ruff Dawg
toys are phthalate, BPA and latex
free, as well as FDA approved
Two Sisters Bakery’s natural
and organic dog treats in five
flavors include Nutty Buddies,
Sweeties Rewards, Strawberry
Kisses, Blueberry Crunchies and
Pumpkin Pie. All five flavors are
free of wheat, corn, soy and dairy
and are made with organic and
natural human-grade ingredients. No artificial preservatives,
colors or flavors are added.
Ello now offers all four Pet
Releaf CBD Edibites treat flavors—Blueberry Cranberry, Carob Coconut, Peanut Butter Banana and Kale and Carrot—and
CBD Hemp Oil in 100-milligram
and 300-milligram containers.
Sheridan, Colo.-based Pet Releaf said its products, made in
small batches in the company’s
certified commercial kitchen, are
formulated to provide a natural,
organic option for dealing with
pain and anxiety in dogs.
TRUE LEAF CHEWS GAIN
True Leaf Medicine International, a producer of hemp-based
pet nutrition products, made an
agreement with Pet Food Experts
Inc., gaining distribution in the
U.S. for the first time.
The agreement with Pawtucket, R.I.-based Pet Food Experts means True Leaf functional
chews will be available to 3,500
independent retail stores in 29
states this spring.
True Leaf unveiled True Hemp
dog chews in the U.S. at Global Pet
Expo in Orlando, Fla., in March. Its
presence there coincided with the
signing of the distribution agreement and led to agreements to
retail True Hemp products in the
Midwest, Texas and San Diego.
The functional chews for dogs
have been available in Canada
and online since December 2015.
