Chris Widener, renowned per-
sonal development and leadership
coach and author of the best-sell-
ing “The Angel Inside” and “The

fiction books ever endorsed by Zig
Ziglar), shared his secrets on how
to impact others by first trans-
forming one’s own life.
ADMC’s prize drawings were
home runs, too. Ticket-holding
hopefuls vied for $1,000 Visa gift
cards, widescreen TVs, Surface
Pro 4s, iPad Airs and Apple TVs.
The grand prize was an electric
guitar autographed by Prince &
the Revolution, whose hometown
was Minneapolis. (See sidebar for
winners.)
All dining was hosted at the
field, as were most R&R and
networking opportunities. Attendees enjoyed happy hours
(one on the Budweiser Roof
Deck while “Field of Dreams”
and “The Natural” played on
the Jumbotron) and meals at the
Metropolitan Club, Event Suites
and Townball Tavern.

One evening’s diversion, held
at Mill City Nights in the center
of downtown Minneapolis’ night
scene, was an ’80s hair-band-lov-er’s dream and a show not to be
missed. Hairball (Google them;

ceeded our expectations on many
levels. The variety of vendors was
excellent. A great cross-section
and strong representation. Deals
were good and worth the time
away from the store and worth
investing in. Target Field and the
meals were crazy good! And re-
living the olden concert days with
