PET RELEAF TAKES RETAILERS ON HEMP FARM TOURS
Littleton, Colo.-based Pet Releaf recently hosted two tours for its
retail partners of its certified USDA organic hemp farm located in
Eastern Colorado. Attendees had the opportunity to spend the day
at Pet Releaf’s joint-venture hemp farm and to see Pet Releaf’s proprietary strain, PR- 33, prior to its harvest.
“Seeing the farm helped me understand that Pet Releaf is truly
doing everything in their power to provide a quality and effective
product,” said Caitlin Sullivan from Cherrybrook Pet Supplies, who
won Pet Releaf’s Global Pet Expo farm tour giveaway. “As a retailer
of natural and holistic pet supplies, we strive to carry products from
trustworthy partners that are able to provide us with detailed infor-
mation on the product sourcing and manufacturing, as Pet Releaf
has done. Seeing the farm in person and having had this detailed
manufacturing process information shared with us only solidifies
our confidence in our decision to sell Pet Releaf.”
Retailers were educated on why certified USDA organic hemp
is so important and how difficult it is to maintain USDA organic
status on cannabis plant material, and they were able to get their
questions answered regarding best farming practices when it comes
to growing hemp that will be used for cannabidiol (CBD) products
specific to pet companions, said Pet Releaf officials.
