West Distributors to its distribution network. Middle West will distribute the full

“We are very thrilled to be a part of

Kate McCarron, founder and “top dog”
of Portland Pet Food Co. in Portland, Ore.
Based in West Chicago, Ill., Middle West distributes premium pet food
and treats, a perfect match for Portland Pet Food Co.’s all-natural meal toppers and treats, said company officials.
“We are committed to growth by expanding retail distribution and fostering relationships with pet industry retailers,” McCarron said. “We value
working with the specialty pet food retailers to ensure that every customer is
aware of alternative healthy feeding options for their pets.”
ANIMAL SUPPLY CO. BECOMES EXCLUSIVE
DISTRIBUTOR OF HOLISTIC HOUND CBD PRODUCTS
Animal Supply Co. (ASC), a pet food and supplies
distributor, based in Federal Way, Wash., has acquired exclusive rights to distribute the entire line of
cannabidiol (CBD) products from Holistic Hound.
The Holistic Hound line of veterinarian-formulat-ed CBD and mushroom treats and whole plant, CBD-rich hemp oils is derived from U.S.-grown organic

NEW WAYS TO TRAIN
PetSafe, a brand of Radio Systems Corp.
in Knoxville, Tenn., has redesigned its re-
mote dog training products. The line has
been reimagined with customers in mind
to make training products easier to under-
stand and use.
“We value our customers and their
NEW PACKAGING FOR ARTHRAMINE MAX
feedback of our products, which is why we
conducted extensive research through in-
home observation and surveys of current
remote trainer users to evaluate how we
could enhance our line of remote training
products,” said Heather Williams, catego-
ry manager for PetSafe training and bark
control products. “Based on this feedback
and evaluation, we were able to create an
improved line of remote trainers to make
obedience training easier and more effec-
tive to enhance communication between
dog parents and their dogs.”
PetSafe’s new trainer line allows users
to choose their preferred stimulation type
among tone, vibration or 15 levels of static.
Additionally, a second dog can be added
to remote trainers with a 300-yard range
Following the newly designed branding of
both Lipiderm and Arthramine, International Veterinary Sciences (IVS), a division of
Anaheim, Calif.-based Animal Nutrition, has
introduced a new look for Arthramine Max,
company officials reported.
The goal of the new design is to convey
IVS’ continued commitment to both its retailers with better on-shelf marketing and to
make it easy for consumers to receive one clear
message—that the product is high quality,
effective, USA made and sourced, and from
a name they have trusted for more than 30
years, company officials said. The new look
of Arthramine Max differentiates the product
from Arthramine just enough to be different,
but it is similar enough to look like part of a
line of solutions versus a one-off product.
