of ZippyPaws in Chino, Calif. “We have new
launches happening in 2018—I’m very excit-
ed to share these new collections with every-

in the ZippyPaws team that we will continue
paving the way for the dog toy industry.”
The Donutz toy line has been a bestseller
ever since Cao and her father started the com-
pany, officials said. The stuffing-free fuzzy
toys come in three sizes: regular, which has
a suggested retail price of $7.99; mini Donutz,
which retails for $5.99; and jumbo Donutz,
which retails for $10.99.
PET RELEAF DROPS PRICES AS A RESULT
OF “BEST HEMP HARVEST” IN 2017
Pet Releaf, a maker of cannabidiol (CBD) products for pets, reported its best hemp harvest
ever in 2017. Pet Releaf controls its entire manufacturing process, from seed to sale, from plant
to pet, starting with its joint-venture hemp farm
in eastern Colorado. The company’s multigen-erational family farming partners’ experience
and innovation has allowed Pet Releaf to sig-nificantly increase its acreage and use more of
Pet Releaf’s proprietary hemp strain PR- 33 than
ever before, according to company officials.
“From the beginning, we decided Pet Re-
leaf would control our entire manufacturing
process to ensure safety and consistency,”
said Steve Smith, president of the Littleton,
Colo.-based company. “Our dedication to the
entire process has allowed us to develop state-
of-the-art farming practices and production ef-
ficiencies like no other. With this year’s success,
we are happy to share these costs savings with
our loyal retail partners.”
The successful harvest means that Pet Re-
leaf is able to drop its prices without sacrificing
quality, officials said.
