VALUE BAG SIZES FOR INCLOVER
Boulder, Colo.-based InClover has introduced 10.5-ounce bag sizes
to its Feline Functionals line. The formulas will remain unchanged
for all four supplements: Flow, Sleek, Smile and Spry.
Creation of the new value size was driven by vast consumer
research and valuable retailer
input, company officials said.
Consumers often purchase
the 2.1-ounce bag of Feline
Functionals in sets of three,
which was part of the company’s motivation for creating a 10.5-ounce bag, officials
reported.
InClover also introduced
a 15-ounce bag size of its Grin
canine dental health supplement. The formula will remain
unchanged. The size provides
a quantity in between that of
the 4-ounce bag and the 1-ki-
logram jar, providing a great
value to the consumer. The
economy size was driven by
consumer research and retailer input, the company stated.
CAITEC COMBINES
BIRD BRANDS
Baltimore-based Caitec has combined the
bird brands Featherland and Paradise
into one. The new
Featherland Paradise
brand now will serve
as the umbrella for all of Caitec’s bird offerings.
The new brand is also getting a major packaging
makeover. Its new, modern packaging will make
identifying the type and size of birds a product is
meant for easier for the trade and, ultimately, the
end consumer.
“For more than 14 years, Caitec has been at the
forefront of bird toys and accessories,” said pres-
ident Terry Gao. “The new Featherland Paradise
brand is a reflection of our success in the category.
Major retail buyers are discovering that our prod-
ucts are bestsellers in the bird category and can
reinvigorate their bird sets.”
The new Featherland Paradise brand look
will be featured in leading trade publications to
help buyers become aware of the brand and
packaging changes, the company reported.
