PETSMART EXPANDS ONLINE DELIVERY SERVICE
PetSmart has expanded its collaboration with Deliv, a same-day
delivery startup, to power its online same-day and scheduled
delivery service in 33 markets across 23 states in which Deliv
operates, leveraging its brick-and-mortar network and omni-channel operation.
Pet owners can now select time-tailored same-day and
scheduled delivery service in metro areas across the country.
In addition to the areas that Deliv already covers, PetSmart.
com’s delivery service is now available in the following 14
markets: Austin, Texas; Charlotte, N.C.; Cincinnati; Colum-
bus, Ohio; Denver; Kansas City, Mo.; Minneapolis; Orlando,
Fla.; Phoenix; Pittsburgh; Sacramento, Calif.; San Antonio;
San Diego; and Tampa, Fla.
“We are excited to expand our collaboration with Deliv so
that our shoppers can select where, when and how they want
their products delivered,” said Eran Cohen, chief customer ex-
perience officer at PetSmart, which has headquarters in Phoenix.
“From same-day delivery to a scheduled timeframe two days
out and with a multi-hour delivery window, Deliv’s focus and
expertise in tailored home delivery service is helping us meet the
needs of today’s pet parent lifestyles.”
Customers located in Deliv’s markets can shop on PetSmart.
com and select scheduled delivery on the product page for anything
from 50-pound bags of dog food
to bulky containers of cat litter to
pet fashion or home décor items.
Customers can schedule specif-
ic delivery windows and know
when orders will arrive with
Deliv’s real-time GPS track-
ing feature. Delivery can be set
within a few hours of purchase
and up to two days later.
PetSmart immediately noti-fies Deliv after an online order
is placed, and then a Deliv driver picks up the items from the
nearest PetSmart location.

Wag N’ Wash Food & Bakery, a full-line specialty retail
destination for cats and dogs,
is accelerating its expansion
aspirations in Minnesota.
With one store already open
and operating in Eagan, Minn.,
and a second slated to open early next year in the West Saint

the next several years.
