company. Since then, the company has grown to include the production and distribution of ultra-premi-um hays, fortified foods, supplements and treats, and
accessories and care items.
Oxbow will move its 150-person workforce to the
new facility through a phased approach beginning this
fall. The company anticipates growing its workforce to
200 over the next five years.
Oxbow will maintain its focus on company culture
in the facility, with amenities such as community fel-
lowship areas, spacious cafeteria and break spaces,
and many formal and informal meeting and innova-
tion spaces. Additional features, such as air quality and
temperature control in production areas, will provide
infrastructural improvements.
Oxbow’s director of veterinary science and outreach, Dr. Micah Kohles, said the facility’s dedicated
product-quality laboratory supports the company’s
commitment to providing for the better care and nutrition of animals globally.
“Oxbow has always placed great emphasis on being
at the forefront of product innovation and nutrition,”
Kohles said. “Having a new, enhanced space in which
to focus on product quality will make us an even stronger partner to pet parents, industry peers and the veterinary community.”
