Super Zoo is always flush with the latest natural products, and this year’s show is no e xce p ti on. Many exhib iting
manufacturers are showcasing
some of the newest innovations
in health and wellness products in the show’s Nature’s
Pathway section—the largest
of SuperZoo’s neighborhoods.
Himalayan Corp. (booths
429 and 433) is doubling its
efforts with two booths this
year—one with products
people are accustomed to seeing and one with a few new
lines the company is eager to
show off.
Zach Ortega, marketing
manager for the Mukilteo,
Wash.-based company, said
the two new products Himalayan is particularly excited
about are its Happy Teeth and
Ruff Bone.
“Happy Teeth is our first
product that is truly a den-
tal chew, created by focusing
on not being like other dental
chews,” he said. “Because it is
a bit more difficult to floss on a
dog, Happy Teeth was formed
with that in mind. Its spongy
texture allows it to go in be-
tween the dog’s teeth, cleaning
near the gums as they chew.”
Ruff Bone is composed of
olive wood and soaked in olive
oil, and it is intended for pups
that love to destroy the couch
or table legs. It is handmade in
Germany and offers immune
system benefits because of the
olive oil, Ortega said.
This year marks the sixth
SuperZoo Himalayan will exhibit at.
