Congratulations on your first SuperZoo event
as president of the World Pet Association.
What are you most looking forward to about
the upcoming event?
Thank you—it’s an exciting time. SuperZoo has
been a monumental event for WPA and the pet
products industry as a whole, so I’m very much
looking forward to coming together with the en-
tire community in June and to delighting our at-
tendees with a few surprises and novelties.
This year’s show also marks some important
firsts. One very notable first is the brand new
Made in the USA showcase, designed to high-
light products with “Made in the USA” labels.
What prompted WPA to add this showcase to
the show floor, and what will the value of it
be for attendees and manufacturers in this
The Made in the USA showcase is intended to
highlight products that were made in the United
States, which we decided would be a unique way
to serve American consumers and their increas-
ing desire to shop local, as well as serve inter-
national buyers who are interested in and eager
to bring U.S.-made products to their customers.
