a possible and appropriate crossover extension to their
current business offering. Retail operations are increas-
ingly seeking to include services within their offerings,
and we are seeing increased demand for grooming sup-
plies and services across the pet industry. We are also
offering education to provide grooming attendees access
to trends in canine, or kitty, coiffure, which will include
trend presentations and demonstrations of new tools and
techniques that grooming professionals need to know.

Networking is always an important and highly requested
show element for attendees because they are eager to
build relationships and share insights with like-minded
professionals. Our popular Networking Reception, which
will be held on Tuesday, June 26, will include abundant
hors d’oeuvres with games and prizes. It will also boast
a USA theme, tying into the new Made in the USA show-
case. This is a great opportunity to connect with col-
leagues, make new friends, and share industry insights
and stories. We are also looking forward to—and we
encourage our community to join us at—a concert on
Wednesday, June 27, featuring Kenny Loggins. So kick
off your Sunday shoes—Footloose!
Finally, what would you advise attendees to do now
to prepare for SuperZoo and to ensure that they get
the very most out of their time at the show?
A little preparation goes a long way. We encourage
people to register early—it is free to register online in
advance. Reserve your seat for the Kenny Loggins live
concert. Book your travel early to ensure the best pricing. Take a look at our tips page on our website. Plan
your time wisely—it is helpful to make a schedule so you
can fit in time for education, networking and enjoying the
show floor. It is best to review the education schedule
beforehand and sign up for sessions early to guarantee
your spot. Education sessions begin on Monday before
the show floor opens, so you have time to take advantage
of the pet industry’s top educational offerings. We also
encourage people to download the SuperZoo mobile app
before the show so that you can schedule and navigate
the show floor.
Critter Alley is a popular destination
on the show floor.
Booths at SuperZoo often delight
attendees with special guests, such as
Manny the Frenchie, shown here at the
Halo booth in 2017.
SuperZoo also offers endless opportunities to
engage with and simply gaze upon cute, cuddly
pets, such as this Catit playground display from
Hagen Group at last year's event.
